Heritage Shotgun Sports LLC ("Heritage Shotgun Sports" or "HSS") is a federally licensed firearms dealer based in South Florida.

Product Price and Specifications

All product prices and specifications listed for sale on this website are subject to change at any time. Please see Website Terms for further information. Heritage Shotgun Sports does not offer price adjustments, credits, or refunds of the difference if the price of an item changes after your order is placed. Heritage Shotgun Sports also does not allow raincheck pricing for any prior Sale or Daily Deal prices if you have not placed an order.

Purchasing

Purchasing Protocol

All NFA Rules Apply.

All payments are processed immediately upon placement of order. It is the responsibility of the customer to know and be in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting, or using a firearm, magazine, and ammunition in the locality in which the customer resides.

Heritage Shotgun Sports reserves the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.

Cancellations

Order Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellations

Except for orders fulfilled by HSS Partners, an order placed with Heritage Shotgun Sports may be cancelled by the customer prior to the order having been shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Due to processing timeframes and procedures, orders containing items fulfilled by HSS Partners (our third-party distribution partners) cannot be cancelled.

All cancellation requests must be made through the Customer Service Department at 954-445-2362, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET, or by email at sales@heritageshotgunsports.com. You must provide the order number when contacting Customer Service.

If an order cannot be cancelled because the order has shipped or the order includes items fulfilled by HSS Partners, then the customer must follow all rules and procedures applicable to Returns. Please note that the return of the item(s) will be made at the customer’s expense.

Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.

All sales of gift cards are final and cannot be refunded.

Company Cancellations

In some cases, Heritage Shotgun Sports may have to cancel an order or part of an order. Heritage Shotgun Sports will provide a refund or gift card for the amount of the order or part of the order that was cancelled.

Suppressor Cancellation Policy

Fingerprint Kits and Trusts are non-refundable.

Cancellation within 30 days of purchase and no submission of Form 4

No cancellation fee.

Cancellation after 30 days of purchase and no submission of Form 4

If order is cancelled after 30 days and the Form 4 has not been submitted for processing, a 10% cancellation fee will be applied to your refund. This fee covers processing costs and administrative expenses associated with the order.

Cancellation after submission of Form 4

Any NFA tax paid to the ATF is non-refundable by Heritage Shotgun Sports. (Effective January 1, 2026, the federal NFA tax on suppressors is $0.)

If order is cancelled after 30 days and the Form 4 has been submitted for processing, a 35% cancellation fee will be applied to your refund. This fee covers processing costs and administrative expenses associated with the order.

Returns

Except for items designated as nonreturnable or as otherwise set forth below, Heritage Shotgun Sports will accept a return of an item for replacement (if a replacement item is available) or a refund of the purchase price, less the original shipping and handling costs and any applicable restocking fee, provided such return is made within 30 DAYS of the date of receipt of the purchased item.

Unless there is an item defect or a valid item performance issue, returned items must be resalable (no wear or usage), in original packaging, and with all paperwork, tags, parts, and accessories. If the item is not returned in resalable condition, Heritage Shotgun Sports may reject the return.

All returns MUST INCLUDE a completed Return Merchandise Form with the returned item for Heritage Shotgun Sports to process the request, issue a refund, or replace the item. The customer MUST contact Customer Service to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number BEFORE returning any item. Please contact Customer Service at 954-445-2362 or sales@heritageshotgunsports.com to request a Return Merchandise Form.

If the customer fails to include a Return Merchandise Form with the returned item(s), or if the Return Merchandise Form is incomplete, Heritage Shotgun Sports will NOT process a refund or replacement for the item(s) and the item(s) will be returned to the customer.

All returned items must be received by Heritage Shotgun Sports prior to any replacement being shipped or refund being issued.

Refunds will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase. Credit in the form of a gift card will be issued if the original form of payment is not available or agreed to by the customer.

Customers should carefully inspect all firearms prior to having the firearm transferred into the customer's possession. Firearms (including lower receivers and frames) are not eligible for return after the FFL transfer. If a defect is discovered in any of these items after the FFL transfer, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly to submit a warranty claim.

The customer is solely responsible for any FFL transfer fees for any returned items (including, but not limited to, when the customer fails a background check). Heritage Shotgun Sports is not responsible for and shall not pay for, reimburse, or refund any FFL transfer fees.

Heritage Shotgun Sports carefully monitors returns and may take reasonable action, including limiting or refusing returns, to prevent fraud and abuse and to otherwise enforce these terms and conditions and all laws and regulations governing orders made on our website.

Heritage Shotgun Sports reserves the right to dispute any bank or credit card chargebacks. Heritage Shotgun Sports reserves the right to refuse all future orders placed by any customer that cancels an order via debit or credit card chargeback following shipment.

Firearm Reshipment

If your firearm, lower receiver, or frame is not able to be delivered to your selected FFL dealer, it will be returned to Heritage Shotgun Sports. You may choose to have the order reshipped (subject to additional shipping fees) or request a refund (subject to a restocking fee). Heritage Shotgun Sports will only reship orders one time. If a second attempt to ship the order is unsuccessful, the order will be automatically refunded (subject to a restocking fee).

Firearm Restocking Fees

Each non-defective firearm, lower receiver, or frame permitted for return is subject to a restocking fee equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the item's purchase price, which shall be deducted from the refund amount.

There is no restocking fee where prohibited by law. The restocking fee will be taxed in select states.

Nonreturnable Items

All sales of the following items are FINAL and returns, refunds, or exchanges are NOT ACCEPTED:

  • Firearms (including frames and lower receivers) that have been transferred into customer's possession
  • Suppressors
  • Any blemished or "Blem" firearms, frames, and receivers
  • Ammunition
  • Ammunition components
  • Blank cartridges
  • Bows
  • Arrows
  • Electronics
  • Used, worn, or washed clothing

If a defect is discovered in any of these items, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly to submit a warranty claim. Heritage Shotgun Sports will be glad to assist in locating the appropriate manufacturer's contact information.

If the customer received any of these items that were shipped incorrectly, the customer can contact Customer Service for assistance.

Amending Orders

No amendments to orders can take place once an order is placed.

If the order has not shipped, please email us for the quickest response.

Shipping Times

All standard shipments are FOB our warehouse.

Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 5-7 business days. During the holiday and peak seasons shipping times will vary due to the high order volume. We do work very hard to get your order out to you, and apologize if there is a delay with it. Let our Customer Service Department know if your order has passed the above ship time, and they will have your order sent to our Shipping Department to investigate the reason for the delay.

Please note that upper receivers may take up to 15 business days to ship out. Serialized items (rifles, shotguns, pistols, lower receivers, etc.) may take up to 7-10 business days to ship out. Please verify that HSS has a copy of the FFL from your dealer.

Shipping Protection

If selected at checkout, Heritage Shotgun Sports LLC (“HSS”) will deliver all goods and merchandise purchased from HSS to the named recipient “Delivered at Place Unloaded” at the address within the United States that you specify in your order (Incoterms 2020). This means that HSS will bear the risk of loss of bringing such goods and merchandise to, and unloading them at, such destination, including loss or damage during transit. Once such goods and merchandise have been delivered and unloaded at such destination, HSS will have no further risk of loss, including responsibility for loss or damage. For lost or damaged property, HSS will, at its election, replace the goods and merchandise as long as replacement items are available or refund the purchase price to you (in cash or by issuance of an HSS gift card) less shipping fees and taxes, which will be your sole and exclusive remedy. These terms are terms of shipment and are NOT an insurance contract.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, HSS will not bear any risk of loss or be responsible for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any of the following, regardless of any other cause or event that contributes concurrently or in any sequence to the loss, all of which risk of loss shall be borne by you: (1) seizure or destruction of property by order of governmental authority; (2) incorrect delivery by the carrier caused by an incorrect address on the shipping label; (3) misappropriation, sabotage, conversion or any other dishonest act on the part of you or other party of interest, your respective employees or agents or others to whom the goods or merchandise may be entrusted for any purpose whatsoever; (4) any shortage in goods claimed to have been forwarded in a package when the package is received by the addressee in apparent good condition with the seals unbroken; or (5) unsuccessful delivery attempts. In addition, HSS will not bear any risk of loss or be responsible for any loss or damage in the event your payment made to HSS is in any form that is false, fraudulent, invalid, uncollectible, or counterfeit.

Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, HSS’s liability is limited to the cost of reasonably restoring the applicable item to its condition immediately before loss or damage or the cost of replacing that property with substantially identical property. If HSS pays any loss or damage, it will pay no more than the value you have recorded for purchase. HSS reserves all right, title and interest in the applicable items to the extent of payments paid by HSS.

All notices for loss of or damage to property transported or accepted must include date of shipment, tracking number, and the nature of loss or damage. Claims should be made by calling our customer service line at 954-445-2362 or emailing us at sales@heritageshotgunsports.com. All claims must be made within seven days after the scheduled delivery time or five days after you receive notification that the package was delivered but did not receive it. All damaged items must be verified and a certified statement of loss with proof of documentation required by consignee. Proof of loss must include proof of interest in the property and affidavit of shipment. HSS will pay for loss or damage within seven days after it receives the sworn proof of loss, if you have complied with all the terms set forth herein and HSS has reached agreement with you on the amount of the loss.

Shipping Costs

For shipping costs please add the item(s) to your cart, then use the shipping estimate in the cart by entering your country, state, and zip code.

Order Tracking

To track your order, sign in, click on “My Account”, click on “Orders”, select your order, and then click on the tracking number. Typically, tracking information will be updated at the end of the business day after your order has been picked up by the carrier. If the tracking number has not been added to your order, the carrier has not picked up your order.

Local Pickup

Firearm order pickup is available by appointment only at our South Florida location. Please contact us at 954-445-2362 or sales@heritageshotgunsports.com to schedule a pickup appointment.

Customers will be contacted by Heritage Shotgun Sports once the order is available for pickup. All local pickups are subject to the following Florida and federal requirements:

  • The customer must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or take possession of any firearm from a licensed dealer in Florida.
  • The customer must pass a background check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at the time of pickup.
  • Florida law requires a waiting period of 3 business days (excluding weekends and legal holidays), or until the background check is completed, whichever occurs later, before delivery of any firearm. Exemptions apply to holders of a valid Florida concealed weapon or firearm license, to customers trading in another firearm, and to rifle or shotgun purchasers who provide proof of completing a 16-hour hunter safety course and hold a valid hunter safety certification card.

Any customer who wishes to pick up stripped lower receivers or handguns must be a current resident of Florida with a valid Florida driver's license or state approved ID, with their current address reflected. Long guns may be picked up by non-residents, provided they do so in person and the transaction is legal in both the transferee and transferor's state. The only exception would be permanent party military personnel, who would be required to provide a copy of their PCS orders, ID, and if they live off base, a state issued document (i.e. utility bill, vehicle registration) at time of pick up.

Order Restrictions

We ship only to valid FFL Dealers. Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

The customer is responsible for knowing his/her state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local FFL dealer with any questions regarding the sale or transfer of firearms. Contact your local FFL before ordering a firearm to verify their transfer fee and to ensure they will receive your transfer. The customer assumes all responsibility and cost for returned firearms due to FFL refusal or failure to receive.

If you order a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver, YOU MUST be:

  • A legal resident of the state in which you are ordering.
  • 21 years of age or older to complete the transfer through your FFL.

Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local FFL receiving the transfer as you may have to provide proof of deployment, residence, etc.

Please follow all directions prompted to you at checkout. This will ensure speedier delivery. Please note that the FFL selection on our website is for customer convenience only and does not necessarily mean that Heritage Shotgun Sports has the FFL selected on file. The customer may be asked to provide the FFL information that they wish to use. If a customer wishes to change the FFL they want to use after the order has shipped, they will be additionally charged for the cost of shipping. If a FFL is not available at the time of delivery, the package will not be held at the carrier hub and will be returned to Heritage Shotgun Sports. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that need to be reshipped.

Sale Restrictions

Heritage Shotgun Sports operates in strict compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing the sale of firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, and related accessories.

The restrictions implemented by Heritage Shotgun Sports are not intended to be legal advice, and Heritage Shotgun Sports makes no representations regarding the legality of any item in any specific jurisdiction. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

Customer Acknowledgment and Certification

By purchasing any item from Heritage Shotgun Sports, the customer certifies, acknowledges, and agrees to the following:

  • The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, ownership, and use of any item purchased from Heritage Shotgun Sports complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances in the customer’s jurisdiction.
  • The customer has independently verified that its purchase and intended use of any item is legal in the customer’s state and local jurisdiction.
  • The customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Heritage Shotgun Sports and its affiliates from any liability, claims, or legal consequences arising from the customer’s purchase, ownership, possession, or use of any item purchased from Heritage Shotgun Sports.

Failure to comply with applicable laws may result in severe legal penalties. If you are unsure about the legal status of an item in your area, consult a qualified attorney or local law enforcement before making a purchase.

Heritage Shotgun Sports reserves the right to cancel any order that it determines cannot lawfully be shipped to or transferred in the customer's jurisdiction.

All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the FFL license unless you call and request it to ship to the mailing address. All licenses will be validated through FFL eZ Check and must match exactly to avoid delays and cancellation. It is the responsibility of the dealer to ensure that HSS has an updated copy of the FFL license.

No ammunition, third-party items (Drop Ship) or ANY firearms will be shipped to a Post Office Box.

Freight Forwarding is required for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

Knife Ordering Restrictions

Please carefully read and ensure your compliance with the following requirements and restrictions prior to purchasing any knife:

Federal law prohibits the sale and shipment in interstate commerce of switchblades, out of front (OTF) knives, and other automatic opening knives (collectively, “Automatic Knives”) other than in accordance with the limited exceptions set forth below.

Automatic Knives

Automatic Knives include a knife that opens with hand pressure applied to a button or other device in the handle of the knife, or by operation of inertia, gravity, or both.

Automatic Knives do not include a knife that contains a spring, detent, or other mechanism designed to create a bias toward closure of the blade and that requires exertion applied to the blade by hand, wrist, or arm to overcome the bias toward closure to assist in opening the knife.

Limited Exceptions. Automatic Knives may only be sold:

  1. To civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
  2. To supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a State ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organizations;
  3. To supply or procurement officers or employees of any State, or any political subdivision of a State or Territory, ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such government; or
  4. To manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant to an order from any person designated in the preceding subparagraphs (1), (2), and (3).

Heritage Shotgun Sports will not sell any Automatic Knife without the above conditions being met.

P.O. Box Shipments / Restrictions

Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

HSS abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous material shipped through United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as being capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Minor Blast/Minor Projection Hazard — Ammunition
  • Oxidizing Substances — Batteries
  • Flammable Solids — Black Powder
  • Flammable and combustible liquid — Cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans

If you wish to order any hazardous material, you must provide a physical address for shipment through UPS.

Magazine Ordering Restrictions

Heritage Shotgun Sports abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of high capacity magazines. We DO NOT ship high-capacity magazines with firearms to the states that have active magazine restrictions. We WILL NOT replace high capacity magazines with state compliant magazines. We DO NOT offer refunds in place of the magazines.

It is the customer’s responsibility for understanding state laws regarding magazine capacities. Customers ordering magazines that are illegal to own in their state will have their orders cancelled and will be charged a 5% restocking fee.

Magazine Restriction Exceptions

Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letterhead signed by their department's superior officer stating that the magazine will only be used in the execution of the L.E.O.'s duties. HSS only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as L.E.O.’s.

Some states with magazine restrictions may not have L.E.O. exemptions. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order.

Ammunition Ordering Restrictions

Heritage Shotgun Sports abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of ammunition. By purchasing ammunition, you certify that:

  • You agree and accept all policies described in these Terms & Conditions.
  • You are at least 21 years of age (for handgun ammunition) or 18 years of age (for rifle and shotgun ammunition).
  • By purchasing ammunition, you are not violating any local, state, or federal laws.
  • You are not prohibited from receiving or possessing ammunition under federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) and (n). This means you have not been convicted of, and are not under indictment for, a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year; you have not been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence; you are not a fugitive from justice; you are not an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance; you are not subject to a qualifying domestic violence restraining order; you have not been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces; you have not renounced your United States citizenship; and you are not unlawfully present in the United States.
  • You have no legal restraint that would prohibit you from possessing, ordering, owning, or transferring ammunition.
  • You have never been committed to any mental institution, or been adjudicated as mentally defective. You will not sell ammunition to any minor.

Residents of Illinois, New Jersey and Connecticut must send in a copy of their FOID/FID/Permit. The customer is responsible to know and follow all federal, state, and local guidelines when purchasing and reloading ammunition.

Residents of Rhode Island: when ordering ammunition, you must be 21 years of age or older and must have a Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate from the Department of Environmental Management. Please send a copy in along with your state ID for verification.

Other Ordering Restrictions

Notice to California Customers – AB 1263 and SB 704

California enacted two laws, AB 1263 and SB 704, aimed directly at restricting lawful access to certain firearm accessories, components, and equipment, including items that have been legally purchased by responsible California customers for years. Key portions of these laws took effect January 1, 2026.

AB 1263

AB 1263 imposes age and identity verification requirements, acknowledgment requirements, and strict shipping requirements related to the sale and delivery of firearm accessories, parts, and equipment capable of producing firearm components.

As a result, Heritage Shotgun Sports may be unable to make direct sales or deliveries of certain items to retail (non-FFL) customers in California. Affected product categories may include:

  • Pistol grips, including forward pistol grips
  • Thumbhole stocks
  • Folding or telescoping stocks
  • Flare and grenade launchers
  • Flash suppressors and flash hiders
  • Shrouds and handguards
  • All types of handgrips
  • Other firearm accessories, parts, or tools identified by the State of California as being potentially usable in the manufacture of firearms

The law is poorly written and intentionally vague, so the exact scope of the law is still being interpreted and this list may change.

SB 704

SB 704 establishes restrictions and controls specifically targeting the sale, shipment, and transfer of firearm barrels (including complete uppers and rifle kits). Effective January 1, 2026, all firearm barrel transfers to California customers must be completed in person through a California firearms dealer.

Heritage Shotgun Sports will ship all barrels, complete uppers, and rifle kits ordered by California customers to licensed California firearms dealers to transfer those items to you. Because of the separate requirements of AB 1263, we will also have to obtain a current driver’s license or other state ID from you prior to the shipment of those items.

AB 1263 and SB 704 are unjustifiable assaults on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Californians. These laws target lawful commerce, lawful ownership, and lawful use of firearm accessories and components.

We encourage California customers to contact their state legislators about these laws. We will continue updating customers as this situation evolves.

Flamethrower Restrictions

No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, California (model currently for sale), Maryland, and the city of Warren, Michigan.

Flamethrower ownership is generally legal in the United States without requiring any sort of background check. This is America, and freedom is something we stand for.

As the product name states, it is simply a long range torch. However, Maryland and California do have restrictions regarding such devices. The city of Warren, Michigan also prohibits possession via local ordinance.

In Maryland, flamethrowers are outright prohibited to possess due to falling under the state’s definition of a destructive device (not the federal definition).

In California, non-stationary devices that are designed/intended to emit a burning stream at least 10 feet are prohibited without a license issued by the State Fire Marshal.

Check with your local laws. It is your responsibility to understand and adhere to all relevant regulations.

Any flamethrower model offered on our website is not compliant with California laws unless expressly stated otherwise in the product listing.

Special Tax Notices

Dealer Purchases; Tax-Exempt Transactions

The retail website is intended for purchases by end users and other retail customers. If you are a reseller, dealer, distributor, law enforcement or other government authority, or other purchaser that believes your purchase qualifies for sales, use, excise, or similar transaction tax exemption, you must not place that order through the retail site. Any such purchases must be arranged directly with Heritage Shotgun Sports before the order is placed.

Sales, use, excise, and other applicable transaction taxes will be charged and collected on all purchases made through the retail site, without exception for purchasers claiming dealer, resale, or other tax-exempt status. By submitting an order through the retail site, you acknowledge and agree that Heritage Shotgun Sports will collect all applicable taxes based on the order.

Heritage Shotgun Sports is not obligated to review, validate, reverse, or refund any taxes charged on retail-site purchases on the basis of a claimed exemption, resale status, or dealer status. Any purchaser seeking recovery of taxes collected on a retail-site purchase must apply directly to the applicable taxing authority or state tax office and not to Heritage Shotgun Sports.

Colorado Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax

Beginning April 1, 2025, sales of ammunition, firearms (including frames and receivers), suppressors, and certain firearm control components (including hammers, bolts, bolt carriers, breechblocks, cylinders, trigger mechanisms, firing pins, strikers, and slide rails) to Colorado shall be subject to a 6.5% excise tax imposed by the state.

Heritage Shotgun Sports will collect and remit excise taxes on the amount of the sales price of all items subject to the tax. Each sales order receipt issued will specifically identify the amount of Colorado excise tax that has been collected for the taxable items purchased.

Sales to peace officers, law enforcement agencies, and active-duty members of the US Armed Forces are exempt from the tax if the purchaser provides a completed and signed affidavit (see https://tax.colorado.gov/DR7612) and proper photographic identification confirming that the purchases qualify for the exemption.

California Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax

Beginning July 1, 2024, sales of ammunition and firearms, including completed frames and receivers, to California shall be subject to an 11% excise tax imposed by the state.

This excise tax will need to be paid when the California Firearms Dealer or Ammunition Vendor to which the purchased firearm or ammunition is sent completes the transfer paperwork and delivers the ammunition or firearm to you. Heritage Shotgun Sports is not collecting or paying this excise tax. You should provide a copy of your sales order receipt to the California Firearms Dealer or Ammunition Vendor at the time of the transfer so they can determine the correct amount of excise tax to be collected in addition to any other fees or taxes they may need to collect.

All States

The decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., et al, overturned prior Supreme Court precedent in Quill Corp. v. North Dakota, which previously required retailers to have a physical presence in a state beyond merely shipping goods in order to require a retailer to collect and remit sales taxes from those in-state customers. Going forward, HSS will be collecting and remitting sales tax in those states which require such.
